Job Summary
Consults with Leadership to assist in developing policies and procedures regarding organ/tissue donation. Develops, implements and maintains hospital profiles. Conducts timely donor and referral follow-up to assigned hospitals. Organizes post recovery conferences to analyze the efficiency of the hospital donor process and to identify obstacles and evaluate client satisfaction. Oversees the provision of hospital educational in-services and programs. Coordinates and participates in ongoing health care educational displays and exhibits.

Essential Functions
  • Develops, implements and maintains hospital profiles.
  • Identifies obstacles to the donation process by developing and implementing customized marketing plans for targeted hospitals.
  • Conducts timely donor and referral follow-up to assigned hospitals.
  • Organizes post recovery conferences with hospital staff in order to analyze the efficiency of the hospital donor process and to identify obstacles and evaluate client satisfaction.
  • Provides or oversees the provision of hospital educational in-services and programs to key hospital staff based on hospital's specific marketing plans and needs assessments.
  • Coordinates and participates in ongoing health care educational displays and exhibits.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all hospital development activities as directed by Leadership.
Physical Requirements
Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull packages up to 50 pounds. Must have keyboard literacy and/or dexterity sufficient to type and to focus 1.5 feet on a 15-inch computer monochrome or color monitor. Must be able to sit 1+ hours for computer work. Have eyesight correctable to 20/20. Have manual dexterity to organize and file paper documents in pendaflex folders. Safely operate standard office equipment, and print or write legibly. Manual dexterity to dial and answer a telephone, and having acuity sufficient for normal telephone conversations. Prolonged periods of standing, sitting and driving for several hours. Attends to on-site potential organ/tissue donor logistics, hospital meetings, or attending educational offerings. Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate a wide range of medical devices/instruments.

Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field required. Two or more years of both hospital and marketing/sales experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
