As part of the application process, you are asked to indicate your preference
for facilities. If you are not familiar with our facilities, you can learn
about them from this Web site. During the interview process, you will have an
opportunity to speak with a Recruitment Specialist about various facilities
and units throughout Carolinas HealthCare System. The Recruitment Specialist
can answer questions you may have about these facilities and assist you with
your selection.
Can I submit a copy of my resume instead of completing the online application?
The online application is the beginning of our application and hiring process
and provides more information than a standard resume. If you would like to
send a copy of your resume, in addition to completing the online application,
you may do so by fax, email or mail. You may also bring a copy of your resume
when you interview.
What is the uniform/dress code on each unit?
Each unit and facility has it's own dress code. Please discuss the dress
code with the hiring manager when you interview.
Do you offer loan reimbursement?
The Transition Program includes reimbursement for educational loans from
financial institutions.
How long will I be in my unit orientation?
Unit orientation varies with each unit and your previous work experience,
but will typically last 6-8 weeks.
Do you offer weekend positions to new graduates?
Most new graduate RNs need to build upon their skills and nursing experiences
prior to filling a weekend position and therefore, these positions are
traditionally reserved for experienced nurses. Discuss your career goals
with your Nurse Manager and they can assist in developing a plan to meet
your clinical and educational needs.
How will I know the status of my application?
When you complete the online application you will receive a response via
e-mail or mail confirming the receipt of your information. The staff in our
