The Operating Room at CMC University is a busy, fast paced setting with 10 OR Suites, including one cysto and one obstetrics room. Most procedures performed are outpatient and we offer all services except open heart and neuro. RN’s scrub as well as circulate.

Pre/post operative care is given to patients who have the following types of surgeries: oral/maxillofacial, gynecological, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, urological, thoracic and vascular, ear, nose, and throat, plastic surgery and dentistry. Pre/post procedure care is given to patients who have the following types of procedures, but not limited to: liver biopsies, myelograms, discograms, thyroid biopsies, and uterine artery embolizations.

NICET III Certification REQUIRED with 5-10 yrs combined education and/or exp in particular technical experience pref.
Mechanic III-Fire/Sprinkler Systems
Makes repairs and adjustments to plumbing/Fire/sprinkling systems. Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals to implement work involving layout, material take-off and trouble-shooting techniques. HS or equiv req. Technical School, NICET II Certification 3-5 yrs applicable work experience. NC/SC driver’s license required.

CMC-Home Care currently has three openings for full time physical therapists in Lincoln County, Gaston County and Cabarrus County. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. Home health experience is preferred, but not required. PRN candidates can apply too.
Home Care is part of the continuum of care for patients to reach their optimum level of wellness and disease management. Computerized, portable documentation improves the delivery of care and services to the patient.
Responsibilities would include a complete physical assessment of the patient and the patient's environment, establishing an individualized plan of treatment with input from the patient and the patient's caregivers and initiating a home maintenance program. A complete range of therapeutic exercises which are individualized to meet the particular needs of specific patients would also be expected.
